Council House Trail
Loop through Red Clay State Historical Park
Description:
This trail is a one-mile loop around the area where the last Cherokee Council met in 1837 before the Cherokee Nation was forced to walk its Trail of Tears. A replica of the Council House, among other buildings, is located along the loop. The trail is entirely paved and level.
