Albright Cove-Maddron Bald Loop Trail
Trail through one of the largest stands of virgin poplar in eastern Tennessee
Description:
The impressive poplar stand is located along Albright Cove Loop, which is reached by way of Maddron Bald Trail. After hiking the three miles on Maddron Bald, turn right onto the .7-mile Albright Cove Loop, which ends .3 mile further up Maddron Bald. Turn left on Maddron to hike the 3.3 miles back to the trailhead where you started.
