Camp Creek Trail

A little-known but beautiful waterfall down the trail makes the trip worthwhile.

The switchback-style trail leads down a ravine to the banks of the Chattanooga River. It then runs alongside the river until a path to the right leaves the road and arrives at a heavily used campsite.

Unfortunately, both the trail and the campsite have been reported as eroded and frequently trashed with beer cans from parties held there.

An additional bushwack path leads hikers to Class V rapids, a large pool, and, on the South Carolina side, a waterfall that is unlabeled on most maps.
