Logan Turnpike Trail
Provides accessto the Appalachian Trail and some good views
Description:
Logan Turnpike Trail can be accessed from either end; this description goes from the lower end (Kellum Valley) to the higher end (Testnatee Gap).
The trail parallels a stream by way of an abandoned but “fixed up” roadbed for the first mile, and is fairly easy to hike. The second mile follows the same roadbed but is yet to be redone, so it is more difficult to hike. The trail ends at Testnatee Gap, where it intersects with the Appalachian Trail.
