Byron Herbert Reece Access Trail
Formerly known as Blood Mountain Spur Trail
Description:
This trail is an access to the Appalachian Trail from the Byron Herbert Reece Memorial. It is fairly steep for about half its length, and provides access to the Appalachian Trail at Flat Rock Gap. Since
the trail is entirely within the Blood Mountain Wilderness, the blue trail blazes are widely spaced.
