Tallulah Gorge Floor Trail
A short but extremely steep trail to the floor of the gorge
Description:
The trail begins near the Jane Hurt Yarn Interpretive Center. It is considered to be Georgia’s most rugged short section of trail, as it loses almost 560 feet in 0.3 mile, with some areas reaching angles of 45 degrees.
The path winds down a ridge and ends at Sliding Rock, where hikers can choose to continue on to explore more of the gorge.
