Conasauga River Trail
Hike to, then along, the Conasauga River
Description:
Conasauga River Trail has two trailheads: a southern one at Betty Gap and a northern one off FS 17.
The river is clear and beautiful year-round, though some of the blazes that mark the trail’s return to dry ground after a ford (of which there are many) are difficult to find; the important thing to remember is that the trail always heads downriver.
